Samantha & Jessica Schaffhauser (May-Sept 2006)

Twins Samantha and Jessica were the first to play baby Brennan, starting after Brennan's birth in May 2006. Their first scenes were with Bree Williamson (Tess/Jessica) and Forbes March (Nash). The Schaffhauser twins aired in the role throughout the summer, and were last seen in September 2006.

Highlights/Milestones
* May 2006: The birth.
* May 2006: After being stranded in a car wreck, Tess is forced to save the baby's life by dropping her into Nash's arms.
* July 2006: Nash kidnaps Jessica and Brennan.

Carly Simon & Sam Malone Wolfe (Oct 2006 - April 2008)

Twins Carly and Sam took over the role of Brennan in October 2006. Their first scenes were with Bree Williamson (Jessica), Erika Slezak (Viki) and Jerry verDorn (Clint). At the time of their casting, the Wolfe twins were old enough to interact a bit with their cast-mates on camera -- they frequently reached out for objects and paid attention to conversations around them. As they got older, they were able to walk around on camera as well. Out of all of the children to portray Brennan, the Wolfe twins aired for the longest stretch of time: they held onto the role for over a year and a half, last airing in April 2008.

* June 2007: Brennan takes her first steps on camera.

Courtney & Sabrina Walsh (May 2008)

Twins Courtney and Sabrina took over the role of Brennan in May 2008. Their first scenes were with Bree Williamson (Jessica) and Forbes March (Nash). The Walsh twins only aired in the role of Brennan for a few episodes during the month of May.

* May 2008: Brennan's birthday is celebrated.

Brooke & Kiley Liddell (June-Nov 2008)

Twins Brooke and Kiley took over the role of Brennan in June 2008. They had an emotional introduction to the show: their first scenes involved Brennan having to say goodbye to her dying father, Nash. While the Liddells were in the role, Brennan spent most of her time either being taken care of by Tess (Bree Williamson) or Todd (Trevor St. John). On their last air-date in November, Brennan even had a spoken word of dialogue in one of her scenes -- she said "Baby!" when she saw baby Chloe being brought into the room.

* June 2008: Nash says goodbye to Brennan before he dies.
* July 2008: Brennan is reunited with Tess for the first time in two years.
* November 2008: Brennan meets her baby "sister" Chloe.

Stephanie Schmahl (Dec 2008-present)

Stephanie became the first actress to take on the role of Brennan single-handedly (as all of the previous Brennans had been played by sets of twins). Her first scenes on the show were with Melissa Archer (Natalie) and John Brotherton (Jared). At five years old, Stephanie is old enough not only to walk and talk and interact with others in scenes, but also to act out drama as the situation calls for it.

* December 2008: Brennan spends her first Christmas without her parents.
* January 2009: Brennan is reunited with Jessica.
* April 2009: Brennan attends Chloe's christening.
* June 2009: When the baby switch is revealed, Brennan says goodbye to Chloe before Jessica returns her to Starr Manning.
* August 2009: Brennan receives a stuffed animal from a man posing as Nash.
* June 2010: Brennan asks Brody to be her father, prompting Jessica to remind her that she already has a father up in heaven.
* January 2011: Brennan meets her baby brother, Ryder, for the first time.
* February 2011: Brennan is the flower girl at Jessica and Brody's attempted wedding.
