Bree on Barefoot in the Park

(on landing the starring role in the play) "I cried the other night to a friend of mine. I feel like the weakest link out of everybody." (SOW 9/18/07)

(on comparing herself to her character, Corie) "I'm a tad more mature than she is. She's free-spirited and adventurous, fun and a little selfish, and young and sweet. Maybe she's what I was before I moved to New York. It's the best part -- besides Jessica Buchanan and Tess -- that I've ever gotten." (SOW 9/18/07)

(on her role in Barefoot in the Park) "I wasn't actively pursuing it by any means, but I thought it would be a fun thing to do while I'm in New York because life changes really quickly and you never know what's going to happen. I'm really really happy that I got to do it." (SOW Online September 2007)

(on her decision to be in the play) "I got to do something I never experienced before, and learned that I'm capable of pushing myself harder than I'm pushing myself right now." (SID 4/7/08)

Bree on The Untitled Xander Scott Project

(on her production, The Untitled Xander Scott Project) "It's soapy and dramatic, and crazy stuff happens, but it's definitely a departure from the soap. It's a romantic comedy, and it has a really interesting twist. There are a couple of unique things about it, but I don't want to tease too much!" (SID 12/1/08)

Bree on Various Other Roles

(on her worst audition story) "I want to a Coppertone commercial audition and they put you under those UV lights. They needed some sun damage -- not too much, but not too little -- and the commercial shows a picture of the girl's skin with sun damage. Well, I had so much sun damage on my face that the guy was like, 'Whoa! Okay, bye!' Of the group of people they brought in, I was the worst." (SOD 7/29/08)
