The Perfect Nine: Forbes March (Soap Opera Digest 4/17/07)

How do you feel about being named OLTL's Sexiest Man? "I don't know what tragic mistake there's been. There should be a recount. I don't know what happened to all the votes for Jerry verDorn [Clint], but he is the sexiest man, in my opinion. He is the trailblazer!"

What do you find sexy in a partner? "They have to make me laugh. That's a cliche, but it's absolutely true. And they have to tolerate me -- that's a big one...and I'm a bit of an ankle guy [laughs]."

What turns you on? "It sounds so macho, but I like feminine women. I like women who embrace the fact that they're women. That doesn't mean being meek or subservient.... but I love women who are proud to be women."

What is the least sexy thing about you? "[My wife, Vanessa] feels strongly about my farting in bed. I think it's perfectly natural; all men do it...at least, I do."

What is your ideal date? "Just walking around hand-in-hand, enjoying the fact that we actually have some time together is about as blissful as I can be."

What's your ideal sexy soundtrack? "Oh, this is gonna sound really gothic.... Leonard Cohen and candles."

And last but not least: boxers or briefs? "I'm a bit of a boxer brief guy. You know, men have stuff that needs to be kept in place and boxers just don't do that. But briefs just have gotten a bad rap and I'm too vain to get caught in them, so I go for the middle ground, between functionality and vanity: boxer briefs."
