Standout Scene: Antonio Curses Nash! (Soaps In Depth 7/17/07)

Considering that he'd just saved his life after the hospital got bombed, One Life to Live's Nash was probably expecting a gigantic thank you when he was summoned to Antonio's recovery room. "I hope the two of you burn in hell" is what Nash got instead. No, Antonio hadn't forgiven either him or Jessica for destroying his marriage, and he had certain things that he needed to say. "If you're looking for some kind of opening for us to become friends again," Antonio explained, "[it's] not going to happen. I gave Jessica a piece of my liver to save her life because it was the right thing to do. The same principle applies for what you did for me; you did it because it was the right thing." Nash, though, wasn't in the mood to get a tongue-lashing from his ex-boss. "We don't owe each other anything," he agreed. "And as for that little message to Jessica: No, I'm sorry, she's got enough on her plate right now." Antonio then banished Nash from his room, leaving him -- and us -- with a lot to think about.
